《冰雪奇缘2》：迪士尼公主的“大女主”之路
It's been six years since the first Frozen movie became a worldwide hit. A sequel was inevitable – no one could let it go.
6年前，电影《冰雪奇缘》火遍全球。而续集自然顺理成章——没人想要就此完结。
On Nov 22, Frozen 2 hit cinemas around the world. The film broke box office records with a $350 million (about 2.5 billion yuan) worldwide debut. Frozen 2 looks set to become Disney's highest-grossing animated feature yet, breaking the record set by Frozen. The Sunday Times once called Frozen, "Disney's best-animated movie since their second golden age in the early 1990s."
11月22日，《冰雪奇缘2》在全球上映。首映当天电影便以3.5亿美元（约25亿人民币）的票房成绩打破了此前第一部创造的票房纪录。《冰雪奇缘2》似乎也将成为迄今为止迪士尼票房最高的动画电影。《星期日泰晤士报》称《冰雪奇缘》为“迪士尼自上世纪90年代初的黄金时代以来最棒的动画电影。”
Frozen's unusual twists are what make it special.
《冰雪奇缘》不落俗套的剧情转折正是电影的独特之处。
It drops the prince-princess romance in favor of girl power. The prince is just a sidekick. Different from princesses like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, who wait around for a prince to save them, Elsa doesn't need a prince to rescue her. She is her own savior.
这部为女孩力量发声的电影舍弃了王子与公主的爱情故事。王子只是区区配角罢了。不同于等着被王子拯救的白雪公主与睡美人，艾莎不需要王子的拯救。她实现了自我救赎。
But the two sisters have different personalities. Anna is confident and bright-eyed, while Elsa is a loner. Perhaps inevitably, they grow apart. In the end, though, their strong love as sisters brings them back together.
而片中的两姐妹性格却截然不同。安娜热情自信，而艾莎却有些孤僻。或许她们俩注定会分道扬镳。但最终，深切的手足之情还是令她们再次相聚。
Unlike most Disney animations, the story also lacks a proper villain. The main "villain" is Elsa's icy powers. Elsa's powers represent her sadness at not being able to fit in.
和大多数迪士尼动画片不同的是，这个故事也没有一个真正的反派。最大的“反派”其实是艾莎的冰雪魔法。它象征艾莎因为不合群而心生悲伤。
In Frozen 2, Elsa is called by a voice that she hopes will answer questions about the origins of her power, and finally know what happened to their parents.
在《冰雪奇缘2》中，艾莎听到了一个神秘声音的召唤，她希望这个声音能够解答她魔法的来历，并最终解释当年父母身上发生的一切。
While Elsa wants to learn about her power, Frozen's biggest message is about self-acceptance. "Just be yourself." It's illustrated by the theme song, Let It Go; it is Elsa's awakening to let go of her negative feelings. Its composer Kristen Anderson-Lopez told The New York Times that it should encourage people. "Screw fear and shame. Be yourself. Be powerful," she said.
尽管艾莎一直想弄清楚自身力量的来源，但《冰雪奇缘》最想要表达的却是自我接受。“做自己就好。”主题曲《随它吧》正是体现了这一点：艾莎意识到要放下自己的负面情绪。创作这首歌曲的克里斯汀·安德森·洛佩兹在接受《纽约时报》采访时表示，希望这首歌能鼓舞人们。“忘掉恐惧和羞愧。做自己，让自己强大起来，”她说道。
