Bad weather has forced the launch of the first manned Space X rocket to be called off this morning. The US had been hoping to make history today. If successful it would have been the first private company have sent astronauts into orbit. It also would have been the first time astronauts will have blasted off from US soil in nearly a decade, after NASA retired its space shuttle in 2011.
Health authorities in Queensland are racing to find out how Australia's youngest coronavirus victim became infected with the disease, in a town with no known cases. Nathan Turner was found dead at his home at Blackwater in central Queensland on Tuesday, and later tested positive to COVID-19. The fatality has sparked a major health emergency, with a crisis fever clinic set up in the small town. Across the country, 11 new coronavirus cases were recorded yesterday, including two students in New South Wales and a worker at a Melbourne hotel housing quarentined foreign travellors.

Angry riots have broken out in Minneapolis in the US, over the death of an unarmed black man at the hands of police. The violence comes after four officers were fired over the death of George Floyd, who was filmed lying face down pleading for help while an officer knelt on his neck for over seven minutes.
