More than a dozen people have been killed after a police raid sparked a stampede in a nightclub in Peru.Officers say they targeted that club in Lima because it was violating COVID-19 rules after getting calls from neighbors.At least 13 people have died, three police officers are among the injured, 23 others were detained.Back in march, Peru ordered nightclubs and bars to close because of the pandemic.It has lantern America's second highest COVID-19 infection rate and has recorded nearly 600 000 cases.
