I like staying in my living room,and it is quite important to me, because so many events take place in this central space: family gatherings, celebrations,holidays and social events from intimate to grand. There are four chairs in the center. Three of the chairs are alike; however, the fourth is a leather chair with a contrasting fabric on the seat. The standing lamp is a striking art deco piece. There is an abundance of woven textures, including linen and silk. There is a cashmere throw on the leather chair. Many of the windows throughout the horae are dressed with linen drapes. The colors are contemporary yet comforting and are found mostly in the artwork and accessories. The walls and ceiling are white, which enables the richness of the wood pieces and ceiling beams to pop out. The trim is painted in a jade-grayish green, which provides a warm contrast to the creamy white walls. I sometimes invite friends to watch videos or have a chat. We also play cards or some other games like chess or monopoly. When I feel tired, I just turn on the stereo system and listen to the light music. Every evening, I sit in front of the TV and watch my favorite programs.
