Where are you heading?
A couple of stores downtown are having a sale. I want to take a look and see if I can pick up some bargains.
You sound like my mom."we have to watch the family budget. Prices are soaring. It's hard these days to make ends meet.
That has a familiar ring. My mom often said she couldn't afford to have this and that. We got into the habit of hunting for bargains. Do you want to come along?
Why not? I need a couple of suitcases, since I'm leaving for the States next month.
