Steven: Julia, what do you think of the network?
史蒂文：茱莉娅，对于现代网络你怎么看？
Julia: Network is omnipresent nowadays. It's quite convenient for people. You see, we can download music and information from the Internet; I can study from it, too. And the most of all, we can compose, send, and receive e-mails.
茱莉娅：现在网络无处不在，方便了人们的生活。你看，我们可以从网上下载音乐、信息，还可以在线学习。更重要的是我们可以撰写、发送和接收电子邮件。
Steven: Yeah, you are right. Internet makes our lives easier. But it's a two-blade sword.
史蒂文：是啊，因特网给我们的生活带来了便利，但是它却是一把双刃剑。
Julia: What do you mean?
茱莉娅：这是什么意思啊？
Steven: I mean Internet brings benefit a lot, but also some disadvantages. For example, many youngsters are addicted to the games and they neglect their study; or some bad guys steal people's money online, etc.
史蒂文：我是说虽然网络带给人的好处很多，但坏处也不少。比如，很多年轻人沉迷于电子游戏而荒废了学业；还有一些坏人利用网络偷盗他人的钱财，等等。
Julia: I agree. But I think although it has some negative effects, on the whole Internet does more good to us than harm.
茱莉娅：是的。尽管网络有某些负面影响，但总体来说，它的好处还是多于坏处的。
Steven: Yeah, you are right. But we have to know how to make good use of it.
史蒂文：嗯，你说得对。但是我们必须知道如何利用网络。
