Melanie: Hey Coco which Spanish class did you end up choosing? The group class or the individual class?
Coco: I was just gonna talk to you about it, mom. I found another language school that is currently testing out a new type of class. They call it the duo class. So basically, there will be one teacher and two students, and the price for each student is lower. Would you like to take Spanish with me?
Melanie: Oh I don’t know baby. I honestly don’t need the language for work or anything. I am happy with the level I am at right now. I just crack a couple jokes with my Spanish-speaking colleagues, but other than that, I can’t think of other occasion where I would need Spanish.
Coco: Are you sure you don’t want to take it to the next level? We haven’t traveled anywhere this year and I am thinking that either at the end of this year or next year, we can go to South America as a family, and that’s when you can use the language. Wouldn’t it be cool to talk with the locals?
Melanie: It would be very cool but thanks for inviting me baby. I don’t have the time and probably wouldn’t be able to keep up with the class.
Coco: Okay mom, let me know if you change your mind, okay? I would love to learn with you.
