Harbin sees biggest snow in 50 years
哈尔滨遭遇50年来最严重暴雪
The northeastern Chinese city of Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, has been blanketed by its heaviest snow since 1961.
Snowfall continued this morning. But students are back in school today after being off for Monday and Tuesday.
Harbin's international airport has resumed normal operation, though some express ways in the province remain closed.
The subway system has been under pressure with almost double the usual number of passengers.
Weather conditions have also delayed many trains in and out of the city.
