Why Are Some Hairs White?
为什么一些头发是白色的？
One day, a little girl is sitting and watching her mother wash the dishes in the kitchen.
一天，一个小姑娘正站在厨房里看着妈妈洗碗碟。
She suddenly notices that her mother has several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast to her brunette hair.
她突然注意到妈妈的一头黑发中伸出了几缕白发。
She looks at her mother and inquisitively asks, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"
她看着妈妈好奇地问道：“妈妈，为什么你有白头发？”
Her mother stroked her hair and replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."
妈妈摸了摸她的头发，答道：“是这样的，每一次你做了错事惹我不高兴甚至把我气哭的时候，我的一根头发就会变成白色。”
The little girl thought about the revelation for a while and then asked, "Mom, how come all of grandma's hairs are white?"
小姑娘想了一会儿后又问道：“妈妈，姥姥的头发是怎么都变白的呢？”
