Fashion brands present fall/winter collection at Milan
米兰时装周秋冬新品云集
Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, and Francesco Scognamiglio presented their autumn winter collection for 2015-2016 at the Milan Fashion week on Wednesday. Simple autumn breezes, lace and silk, and lilac pink are the main colors for the season.
It was a big day for Gucci in Milan on Wednesday, as the newly appointed art director Alessandro Michele showed his new collection. The color palette evoked the sights of fall, with browns and beiges brightened by bursts of red and cornflower blues.
The collection was simple and accessible, with simple shirts worn with straight trousers, high-waisted skirts with vests tucked in. Coats were either blazers or plain trench coats, with the odd patterned fur addition thrown in for variety. Hair was simple and natural, with many models wearing glasses as accessories or berets.
Alberta Ferretti presented a collection on the same day that encapsulates Italy's heritage of art, literature, natural beauty, and lifestyle. The Milan Fashion Week 2015-16 collection utilizes this historic culture to build and portray Italian excellence in the 21st century. Contrasting materials such as tweed with lurex, gobelin and brocade are used for the mini dresses, coats and jackets.
The long, chiffon gowns with tapestry or mosaic inspired prints gain a striking, graphic quality. Francesco Scognamiglio presented his new collection inside the marvelous Royal Palace on Wednesday evening. The mood was feminine and impalpable as silk was embellished with padded three dimensional leather roses. In the collection, the rose, a symbol of beauty and sensuality, is illuminated by a shower of crystals.
