China sends fleet to help evacuate nationals from Yemen

China has sent a naval fleet to help evacuate its nationals from Yemen, as the situation in the country continues to deteriorate.

According to China's Ministry of National Defense, the People's Liberation Army Navy fleet, which had been carrying out escort missions in the Gulf of Aden and Somali waters, was dispatched to Yemen on Sunday.

The Chinese government made the decision to evacuate in order to protect the safety of Chinese nationals and their property.
