Scantily clad models and children are banned from the 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition opening on April 22, the Shanghai Morning Post reported on Thursday.
据《上海晨报》周四报道，第16届上海国际车展将于4月22日开幕，本届车展将取消衣着暴露的模特，同时谢绝儿童观展。

Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition是上海国际车展；scantily clad是衣着暴露的。
车模（models at auto shows）因穿着越来越暴露（wear fewer and fewer clothes）导致观展者分心（cause distractions）而饱受指责。漂亮的女性能吸引观众（attract the crowd），但是也会使这些潜在的顾客（potential customers）分心，注意力从汽车转移到模特身上。
新规出台后，参观者可以将注意力集中在（concentrate on）新能源（new energy）汽车和概念车（concept cars）上，不过据业内人士（industrial insiders）透露，汽车经销商（auto dealers）可能会让车模变身接待员（receptionists）或是销售顾问（sales consultants）来应对这一禁令。
另外，考虑到车展期间人流量较大，出于安全原因（due to safety concerns），主办方（organizers）谢绝儿童观展（forbid children from attending）。
一个月前的北京车展上，一名儿童趁家长不注意（not paying attention）溜进特斯拉展车，并启动了车辆（start the engine），缓慢移动的车辆差点撞到其他参观者，不过在事态严重（before things got worse）前工作人员将该车停了下来。
