China calls on nationals to leave Libya
中国呼吁公民撤离利比亚
China has renewed its call for Chinese nationals to leave Libya, amid a worsening security crisis. It comes after gunmen attacked the South Korean and Moroccan embassies, killing two guards.
The security situation in Libya has been deteriorating rapidly since Muammar Gaddafi was deposed in 2011. Foreign nationals in the capital Tripoli are being increasingly targeted.
The call for nationals to leave was made by the Chinese embassy in the country, along with a warning for those who choose to stay, to be cautious.
