华东华南发布暴雨预警
China's National Meteorological center has issued an alert for continuous rainstorms in the Southern and eastern parts of China.
Local authorities warned that rains have swollen rivers in south China's Guangdong Province and threatened marine safety. And heavy downpours in the southeast of China have affected more than a million people. Continuous rains have pounded Southeast China's Fujian Province since Sunday.
Local authorities say several cities in the central part of the province have been flooded. More than 170-thousand people have been relocated.
Meanwhile, in central China's Hubei Province, continuous storms have caused houses to collapse, decimated crops and blocked highways. 360-thousand people have been affected.
