近期日本APA连锁酒店在客房内放置右翼书籍事件在网络上曝光，引发中国民众强烈愤慨。国家旅游局新闻发言人张利忠24日在接受记者采访时表示，APA酒店这种错误做法是对中国游客的公然挑衅，严重违反旅游业基本公德，我们对此坚决反对。

The country's tourism authority has urged Chinese tourists to boycott Japanese right-wing chain hotel APA which has refused to withdraw books from its guest rooms that deny the Nanjing Massacre during World War II.

国家旅游局敦促中国游客抵制日本右翼连锁酒店APA，该酒店客房内放置了否认二战期间发生的南京大屠杀事件的书籍，而该酒店拒绝撤除该书籍。

国家旅游局（China National Tourism Administration）新闻发言人张利忠周二表示，APA酒店这种错误做法是对中国游客的公然挑衅（a blatant provocation to Chinese tourists），严重违反旅游业基本公德（violate the industry's professional ethics）。
国家旅游局驻日本办事处第一时间通过相关渠道向日方提出严正交涉（lodged solemn representations），要求酒店撤除上述书籍（withdraw the books）。
但是APA酒店发表官方声明表示，“日本宪法保障言论自由（freedom of speech），任何单方压力（one-sided pressure）都不能迫使已经做出的主张（assertion）被撤回（repeal）。”
张利忠表示，国家旅游局已采取相关措施，要求整个旅游业（the whole industry）停止与该酒店的合作（stop doing business），停止使用该酒店作为地接酒店并下架所有该酒店的旅游产品（tourism products）及相关宣传广告。国家旅游局呼吁中国访日团组和广大游客，自觉抵制（boycott）APA酒店的错误做法，不进该酒店消费。
