A: Tom is no match for Jack in Mathematies.

B: But Jack is no match for Tom in P.E.

A: I think math is more important than P.E.

A: Maybe. But for the best student, I still think Jack is the right choise.

B: I also will vote for Jack, just because of his good behavior at the school not only for such a reason. And I don't see the point in having prejudice against P.E. giants.

第二， 词汇拾贝

be no match for somebody：不如……，敌不过……，不是某人的对手

用法：表示做某事不是某人的对手，不如某人，在短语后用介词in，即：be no matchh for someone in something。

e.g. You're no match for him and he plays tennis far better than you.

你不是他的对手，他打网球比你强得多。

e.g. He felt once more that he was no match for her in selfcontrol and subtlety.

他又一次觉得自己在涵养和机智上都不是她的对手。

e.g. Even with a knige, he would be no match for William Strickland.

就是拿着把刀，他也不是William Strickland的对手。

1. have prejudice against somedoy/somethign：对……有偏见

e.g. I want to make it clear that I have no prejudice against you.

我要表明我对你没有偏见。

e.g. I think you have a prejudice against Chinese traditional medicines.

我认你对传统中药药有偏见。

2. vote for：投票赞成……

e.g. I gave him my pledge that I would vote for him.

我向他保证我将投他的票。

e.g. Why will the voters vote for you against Boswell,Mrs. Stewart?

Stewart太太，为什么选民会投票支持你而反对Boswell？

3. see the point of something：明白做某事的意义，明白做某事的必要

e.g. I don' t see the point of waiting for her, she is probably not coming.

我不知道等她有什么意义，她可能不来了。

e.g. I can't see the point of keeping trying to persuade him to go to the party .

我觉得不停尽力劝说他去参加晚会没有必要。

4. see the point：明白要点

e.g. I still don't see the point you emphasized.

我仍然弄不清楚你所强调的要点。

e.g. I didn't see the point of his last remark.

我不理解他最后那句话的意思。
