UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced the launch of the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation, appointing Jack Ma of Alibaba Group and Melinda Gates of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to co-chair it.
日前，联合国秘书长安东尼奥·古特雷斯宣布成立数字合作高级别小组，任命阿里巴巴集团董事局主席马云和比尔及梅琳达·盖茨基金会联合创始人梅琳达·盖茨为小组联合主席。
The scale, spread and speed of change made possible by digital technologies is unprecedented, Guterres said.

In addition, he noted digital technologies make a significant contribution to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Therefore, the UN chief said, cooperation across domains and across borders is critical to realizing the full social and economic potential of digital technologies, as well as mitigating the risks that they pose and curtailing any unintended consequences.
因此，这位联合国秘书长称，跨国界跨领域合作对于全面实现数字技术的社会和经济潜力、减轻数字技术带来的风险、减少非预期后果至关重要。
"In this digital era, data and technology are more broadly available, enabling entrepreneurialism, economic growth, and improved quality of life for those who have the access and training to leverage it," said Jack Ma.
