Today marked the first time that played in San Antonio since Kawhi being traded to the Toronto Raptors over the course of the offseason.

During the Raptors pregame player introductions, Spurs fans certainly didn't hold back as they rained down a healthy dose of roaring boos when Leonard's name was announced.

Kawhi Leonard says he's not worried about a hostile reception from Spurs fans tonight; he says their boos "can only make me a better a player."

Leonard also acknowledged that his time with the Spurs "meant a lot" in terms of his growth as a player. "I put up blood, sweat and tears wearing that jersey…I put a lot of work (in) here."

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich hopes fans show him "kindness and respect."

"You move on in life," Popovich said. "We're not going to re-do what's happened in the past in any way, shape or form. It's of no consequence at this point, and it does not good to go backward and talk about this, that or the other."

Ironically, who was traded along with Leonard to the Raptors, was introduced right before Leonard and received a strong amount of cheers from the San Antonio crowd. In addition, the crowd chanted "Danny, Danny" leading up to Green being introduced prior to the game.
令人哭笑不得的是，作为莱昂纳德主体交易添头的格林，不但先于莱昂纳德被介绍，而且还收获了圣城大票群众粉丝的热烈欢呼。而且，当赛前介绍准备格林的时候，还有很多粉丝反复呼喊着：丹尼，丹尼。
Both players logged at least seven seasons with the Spurs before being traded.
在被交易前，他们都在马刺至少待了7年。
Prior to the introductions, the Spurs did put together a tribute video that featured both Leonard and Green. What was interestingly noticeable about the video was how the Spurs broke up highlight clips of Leonard and Green, so that the fans couldn't boo throughout the entire segment.
在介绍球员之前，马刺队剪辑了一个对莱昂纳德和格林表达致敬的视频。一个很明显而且有趣的地方是，马刺球队播出莱昂纳德和格林并肩作战的高光视频的时候，球迷就没法在整个观看过程当中爆发嘘声啦。
It definitely appears that the San Antonio fans haven't forgotten how Leonard's tenure with the franchise ended. After playing just nine games in his final season due to a quadriceps injury, despite being cleared by the team's medical staff during the 2017-18 campaign, the Spurs made the decision to move on from Leonard despite him being instrumental in bringing an title to the organization in 2014.
很显然，圣安东尼奥球迷仍然没有忘怀莱昂纳德曾经是如何与球队管理层就合同闹分手的。拜他的四头肌伤势所赐，虽然当时他已经获得马刺队医的上场许可，可莱昂纳德还是只为马刺的最后一个赛季打了9场比赛，随后马刺决定放弃 莱昂纳德，即使他曾经为他们赢得2014年那面总冠军旗帜起到了不可替代的作用。
