China has released a guideline on accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries. By 2027, China's traditional manufacturing industries should achieve notable progress in their high-end, intelligent, green, and integrated development, consolidating their position and competitiveness in the global industrial division of labor and cooperation, according to the guideline jointly released by eight authorities, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the National Development and Reform Commission.
工业和信息化部、国家发展改革委等八部门近日联合印发《关于加快传统制造业转型升级的指导意见》（以下简称《指导意见》）。《指导意见》提出，到2027年，传统制造业高端化、智能化、绿色化、融合化发展水平明显提升，在全球产业分工中的地位和竞争力进一步巩固增强。
Facing a new wave of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, we should look beyond the horizon, seize the opportunities, and move along with the trend to promote transition to digital, smart and green development. We should jointly boost innovation and market application of scientific and technological advances, and push forward full integration of digital and physical economies.
面对新一轮科技革命和产业变革浪潮，我们要着眼长远、把握机遇、乘势而上，推进数字化、智能化、绿色化转型发展，共同强化科技创新和成果转化，推进数字经济和实体经济深度融合。
In pursuing economic growth, we must continue to focus on the real economy. We will advance new industrialization and move faster to boost China's strength in manufacturing, product quality, aerospace, transportation, cyberspace, and digital development. We will carry out industrial foundation reengineering projects and research projects on major technologies and equipment; support enterprises that use special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products; and move the manufacturing sector toward higher-end, smarter, and greener production.
坚持把发展经济的着力点放在实体经济上，推进新型工业化，加快建设制造强国、质量强国、航天强国、交通强国、网络强国、数字中国。实施产业基础再造工程和重大技术装备攻关工程，支持专精特新企业发展，推动制造业高端化、智能化、绿色化发展。
