China's top new archaeological discoveries in 2024

Six significant archaeological sites in China were named the top new discoveries in 2024, announced on February 19, 2025 at an archaeological forum hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The Dadong paleolithic site in Helong City, Jilin Province, is among the honorees.
2025年2月19日，中国社会科学院考古学论坛上揭晓了“2024年中国考古新发现”。吉林省和龙市大洞旧石器时代遗址等6个项目入选。
Chinese culture has a long and continuous history and Chinese civilization is extensive and profound.
