Ever since I went into business for myself, my personal life has gone downhill!
自从我独自经商以来，我的个人生活就开始走下坡路了！
I used to have time to go jogging daily, go for a bike ride two times a week, and even go for a drive with a date on the weekends.
过去我每天都有时间去慢跑，一周骑两次车，甚至在周末和约会对象开车去兜风。
Now I hardly have time to even go for a walk outside to buy my own lunch.
现在我几乎连出去散步给自己买午餐的时间都没有了。
Finally the other day, however, there was a lull between projects.
不过那天我终于在两个项目之间找到了一次暂时休息的机会。
I had a whole day to myselfl. Wow! I almost didn't know what to do with myself.
那一天都是我自己的！哇！我几乎都不知道干点儿什么好。
I decided to go easy on myself and ask a woman I was interested in out to dinner. She accepted.
于是决定对自己好一点儿，找一个感兴趣的女人出去吃晚饭。她答应了我的遂请。
When I picked her up we talked about where we would eat.
开车去接她的时候我们商量去哪儿吃饭。
I wasn't sure what she would go in for, but I was quite happy that she also liked Thai food.
我不太清楚她喜欢吃什么，但令我髙兴的是她也喜欢泰国风味。
We didn't have to go far, the best Thai restaurant was just down the road.
我们不用走远，附近就有一家最好的泰国餐馆。
I won't go into particulars about the rest of the date,
关于后面的约会我不想详述，
but my interest in her started to go down even at the beginning of the meal when she insisted that we go Dutch!
我刚开始吃饭她就坚持要各人付各人的账，我对她的兴趣立马开始减少了！
I tried to tell her that I was okay with paying.
我试着告诉她我付账没有问题。
I was, after all, the one who invited her. But she insisted that we should go halves with the bill.
毕竟是我邀请她来吃饭的。但她坚持说我们应该分摊费用。
She was some kind of feminist or something! Whatever! I didn't go hard with her!
她是个女权主义者或者什么的！我没有为难她！
I also didn't bother to ask her out for a drink afterwards.
后来我连请她出去喝茶的兴致也没有了。
I just said goodnight and went for a swim by myself.
我只是跟她说了晚安，然后就独自去游泳了。
Why waste my time on someone who didn't know how to be treated like a woman?
为什么把时间浪费在一个不知如何享受做女人的人身上呢？
