199. Two weeks later
199. 两周后
Two weeks later Ann was sitting in on a meeting back in the United States as Jake was singing her praises to his boss!
两周之后，安回到美国列席一次会议，杰克则在老板面前对她大加赞扬！
"Excuse me，" she said，"but I’m sick and tired of this spy stuff! And I never signed up for it in the first place! Can you just find me a hotel so I can get some rest?"
“对不起，”她说，“但我对当间谍已经感到极其厌烦。而且从根本上说我从来就没有答应做这事！你能给我找家旅馆让我休息一下吗？”
"She was sick in bed a couple days last week, boss. But then she was side by side with me in all of our operations, sink or swim !" Jake said.
“上周她有几天卧病在床，老板。可是后来我们并肩作战，不管成败如何！”杰克说。
"So I side with her that she needs a break! I can stay here and sift through all the paperwork by myself.
“所以我也认为她需要休息一会儿！我可以留在这里，一个人慢慢研究所有这些文件。
She would probably shy away from that anyhow!" An hour later Ann was finally alone in a hotel after two weeks of unbelievable adventure.
不管怎样她有可能是有意躲避！”一小时后，安终于在经历了两周难以置信的冒险之后独自住进了旅馆。
She still couldn’t believe that she had been singled out to help Jake when any other girl could have been asked. Oh, well. It was over and she was glad.
她仍然无法相信她曾经被选中协助杰克，因为其他任何女孩都有可能受请。不过还好，一切都过去了，她很高兴。
She was sick of being shot at! Then she locked the door. She wanted to be sure to shut Jake out of this room so that he couldn't pop in and ask her to join him again!
她最讨厌被枪射击了！然后她把门锁上。她想一定要把杰克关在门外，这样他就不会突然闯进来又要她跟他一起走！
Who knows? He would probably come in anyhow when she was in the shower to convince her to sign up to go on another adventure with him similar to the one they had just finished!
谁知道呢？他很有可能在她洗淋浴的时候进来，劝她签约参加另外一次历险，就像他们刚刚结束的历险一样！
No way! She was done with being a spy!
不可能！她再也不想当间谍了！
