He is ever merciful, and lendeth, And his seed is blessed.
他始终仁慈，乐于借人，他的后人也会蒙赐福。
Depart from evil, and do good, And dwell for evermore;
远离恶人，多行善，会永远安享太平；
For the Lord loveth judgment, And forsaketh not his saints:
因为上帝喜爱公正，不嫌恶他的圣徒；
They are preserved forever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
他们永受护佑，但是恶人的后代将被铲除。
The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein forever.
正直的人继承土地的饶富，永居于此。
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, And his tongue talketh of judgment;
从正直的人嘴中说出的是智慧的话语，他的舌头来评定是否公平；
The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.
上帝的法律他铭记在心；他的脚步永远不会趔趄。
The wicked watcheth the righteous, And seeketh to slay him.
邪恶之人偷窥正直之人，伺机要他性命。
The Lord will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
上帝不会任他下手在他受到审判时，也不会判罪。
Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, And he shall exalt thee to inherit the land;
等待上帝的指示，按照他的吩咐走，他将提拔你，让你继承土地的饶富；
When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
邪恶之人将被铲除，你会看到。
I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green bay tree;
我目睹邪恶之人势力很大，像一棵枝繁叶茂的月桂树四处延伸；
Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not; Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
人们从那里经过，定睛看去他已不见；我也把他寻找，可是无法找到。
