1.soluble adj. 可溶解的，可解决的

如：The capsule is filled with small soluble cases.
胶囊里充满了可溶的小颗粒。

This substance is soluble in alcohol.
这种物质能够溶解在酒精中。

2.nibble v. 一点点地咬，慢慢啃，吹毛求疵

如：He didn't answer, but just continued to nibble at his food.
他没有回答，只是继续一点一点地吃东西。

The mice have nibbled a hole in the cheese.
老鼠在奶酪上啃出了一个洞。

3. fortified adj. 加强的

如：A large fortified building or group of buildings with thick walls, usually dominating the surrounding country.
城堡带有厚墙的用来设防的大型建筑物或建筑群，通常控制周围的村庄

Fortified against the cold by a heavy coat, he went out into the snow.
他穿上御寒的大衣冒雪外出。
