Negotiators from Russia and Ukraine have met again, and agreed to establish a corridor that will allow both in and outflows of goods and people.
Ryan Thompson reports.
Finally, it seems that during this second meeting between the two sides, they were able to come to more of a consensus than "just let's meet again".
They were able to establish this humanitarian aid corridor, but it's a little bit more than that.
Because in addition to the food and medicine that will be going into Ukraine securely,
it also seems likely that there will be a civilian evacuation channel, which will come at the same way going in the opposite direction.
And even adding more to that, the Ukrainian representative here emphasizes at this point that it could also come at the same time as a ceasefire,
ensuring a little bit more security for any Ukrainians who want to get out.
They have agreed of course that they will meet again, so there will be a third round of talks, we don't know where or when those will be.
We can only assume based on recent meetings that they will be in Belarus, but still there's a lot of distance between these two sides on a lot of the key issues.
Russia has laid out their list of demands, and those are still likely to be non-starters for the Ukrainian side.
