He waited for important guests. He wanted to catch fish with the guests. They also wanted to hunt animals after the fishing. But the guests never came. Then, the captain told me, “Prepare the boat for fishing for the next day.”

他在等重要的客人。他想和客人们一起捕鱼。他们还想在捕鱼后猎杀动物。但是客人们一直没来。然后，船长告诉我：“准备好第二天捕鱼的船。”

This was my opportunity to run away. A lot of guns and food were on the boat. I prepared the boat for fishing as usual. But I left the guns and food on the boat. The next day I could run away. This was my plan.

这是我逃跑的机会。船上有很多枪和食物。我像往常一样准备好捕鱼的船。但我把枪和食物都留在船上了。第二天我就可以逃跑了。这是我的计划。

I thought about the young woman. I wanted to take her with me. But I didn’t know how to do it. It wasn’t possible to take her on the boat. I was sad. I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to be free. But my heart wanted to be with her.

我想起了那个年轻的女人。我想带她一起走。但我不知道该怎么做。带她上船是不可能的。我很难过。我不知道该怎么办。我想要自由。但我内心想和她在一起。

Notes:

1.opportunity: 机会，“失去机会”可以用lose an opportunity。

2.run away: 逃跑，“偶然遇到某人”可以用run across sb.。

3.as usual: 照常，也可以用as normal。
