One great way to increase your vocabulary, particularly if you're talking about negatives or opposites, is to use a prefix.
增加词汇量，特别是增加否定词或反义词的一个好方法是使用前缀。
This is when you take your stem, and then you add a group of small letters to the beginning of the word.
前缀就是在词干前面添加一组小写字母。
Some of these you will already be familiar with, like pre- and post-.
有一些前缀你很熟悉，比如pre-（之前的）和post-（之后的）。
Make sure you do your pre-lesson activities before the class and your post-lesson activities after the class.

Another common one that you may have heard in your English practice is ir-, like regular and irregular verbs, verbs that are not regular.
另一个你可能在英语练习中听到过的常见前缀是ir-，比如规则动词和不规则动词。
We all know them. We all don't like them.

Another one would be un-. Comfortable, uncomfortable.

Some less common prefixes that you might not have heard of, but are useful are mis-, so to misplace something or misspell something, to do it incorrectly.
一些你可能没听说过的、不常见的，但很有用的前缀是mis-，misplace表示“放错地方”，misspell表示“拼写错误”，这个前缀表示不正确地做某事。
Dis-, to disengage.
Dis-，比如disengage（不专心，从……中脱离）。

Im-, we add this to a word that begins with an 'm' or a 'p', like impossible, immeasurable.

And we are changing our words from a positive meaning to a negative meaning.
