China has condemned the arrest of a high-ranking Chinese tech executive in Canada. China's embassy in Canada has issued a statement over the arrest of Meng Wanzhou, the chief financial officer of tech giant Huawei. It says Meng committed no crime and that arrest is a violation of her Human Rights. China has urged both Canada and the United States to immediately correct the wrongdoing. Canadian police arrested Meng in Vancouver on Saturday. She was taken into custody at the request of the United States which is seeking her extradition. Huawei says it's unaware of any wrongdoing by its CFO. Meng is the daughter of Huawei's founder, Ren Zhengfei.
