人们说话时，根据表达意思的需要，对某些重要的词加以强调和突出，这就是句子重音。带有句子重音的词一般是实义词，而不带句子重音的词是结构词。下面我们分别举一些例子：

名词 如：girl, cup, student, teacher, class, water 等

指示代词 如：this, that, these, those 等

My second job was a teacher.
主动词 如：like, see, play, sing 等

副词 如；slowly, hard, very, carefully 等

现在分词与过去分词 如coming, going, written, done 等
