常用于非正式的场合

其他表示相同意思的短语，还有：

yadda yadda yadda

语意：诸如此类，等等

不过，“blah blah blah”和“yadda yadda yadda”都不适合在会议或其他正式场合中使用，大家一定要记住哦！

02 When can you say it?

那么，什么时候说“blah blah blah”或“yadda yadda yadda”是合适的呢？

想要使某事看起来不重要

modesty

对别人的夸赞表示谦虚

-Wow, your job is so great.

哇，你的工作太棒了。

-You know, all I really do is go to the office, sign some papers, talk to co-workers, blah blah blah.

你知道，我真正要做的就是去办公室，签一些文件，和同事聊聊天之类的。

express something is boring

谈论的事情很无聊

make an excuse

找借口

03 From informal to formal

那么，在一些正式场合或需要需要别人重视、尊重你的观点的时候，我们应该使用哪些短语呢？

et cetera (etc.)

-OpenLanguage has video lessons, audio lessons, etc.

注意： “etc.”前不需要再加“and”

and more / and lots more

-OpenLanguage has video lessons, audio lessons and more/and lots more.

比“etc.”更加口语化，但仍可用于正式场合

and so on

注意连读，与“and more/and lots more”意思、使用方式相同

and so on and so forth

与“and more/and lots more”意思、使用方式相同

along with other + n / along with others

等同于“and”

-OpenLanguage has video lessons, audio lessons, along with other amazing products.

注意：省略的事物需与前面提及的事物是同一类

我们有音频课，视频课等等课程。

与“and the like”意思、使用方式相同

-We got lots of stuff in our fridge for you to eat. There are eggs, cheese, milk and whatnot.
