一.learn：v.学会, 学习, 得知
【词义辨析】
1.know, learn, comprehend, understand
这些动词都含“懂、知道、明了”之意。
know普通用词，多指通过学习、经验或他人传播而得到知识，含直接知道的意味。
learn通常指通过他人而获得消息或情况，侧重从不知到知的变化过程。
comprehend侧重熟悉了解的过程。
understand指对事物已有彻底的认识，不仅知其性质、含义和细节，而且了解其内外的关系。
2.learn, study
这两个动词均含“学习”之意。
learn常指一般性的学习，尤指初级阶段的学习，表示摹仿实践的过程；着重成果时，作“学会”解。
study着重指学习过程和高深的或周密的研究，尤指从书本上学习。
【例句用法】
Write out this word ten times so that you learn how to spell it.
把这个字抄写十遍就能记住怎麽拼写了。
It's more useful to learn modern languages, such as English and German, than Latin.
学习英语和德语等现代语言比学习拉丁语更为有用。
二.notice：vt.注意, 留心, 通知 n.通知, 注意, 布告
【语法用法】
notice作名词表示“通知”时，短语at short notice中的at在美式英语中可用on代替；
give notice或have notice一般指离职或迁让的通知：
当后面跟不定式，notice前面可加冠词a。
He gave me a notice to leave by the end of the week.
他通知我要在这周结束前离开。
give notice后面也可跟that从句。
The tenant gave notice that he was going to move on the first day of the next month.
这个房客通知说他会在下个月的第一天搬走。
notice作动词时，后可跟不含to的不定式，但用在被动语态中时，不定式中一定要含to。
I noticed a boy come out of the house.
A boy was noticed to come out of the house.
notice后还可以跟现在分词，强调动作过程。
I noticed a boy coming out of the house.
我无意间看到一个男孩正从房子里出来。
【错句举例与错句分析】
错句: Did you notice the little boy to take the candy and run away?
订正: Did you notice the little boy take the candy and run away?
翻译: 你有没有注意到一个小男孩拿了糖果逃跑了？
分析: notice作动词后面跟无to的不定式，有类似用法的动词还有see/hear/watch。
【词义辨析】
notice, note, mind, attend, remark
这些动词均含“注意”之意。
notice指对所见、所闻、所感的人或事作出的反应，侧重结果。
note语气比notice强，指不仅注意到，而且记录下来，侧重注意的认真与仔细。
mind指用心地去观察，了解某人或某物以达到某一目的，常用于命令句中。
attend一般用词，侧重专心于某事。
remark一般指经过思维活动而注意到。
【例句用法】
It was Susan who brought the problem to our notice.
是苏珊提醒我们注意那个问题的。
Did you notice anything peculiar?
