Unit 15 Someone at the Door
One evening Patsy was alone in the flat.
Suddenly,she heard a noise outside the door.
She stood up quickly and went to the door.
She could hear two men 'Is this the place?'
one of the men asked quietly.
'Yes,ring the bell, 'the other man said.
The second man rang the bell. Patsy did not open the door.
She did not know the men.She was frightened.
'Knock on the door, 'the first man said.
The second man knocked loudly on the door. Patsy still did not open the door.
'Are we going to break down the door? the first man asked angrily.
Patsy was very worried now. She ran to the phone and dialled 110.
The police answered quickly.
'There are two men outside my flat,'Patsy said quietly.
'They're going to break down the door.' She gave the police her name and address.
The police arrived quickly and took the men away.

Policeman:Can you speak slowly,please.
Girl:Flat 5,13th Floor Block G,Wan Fu Estate.
Policeman:Speak loudly,please.
Girl:Oh,it doesn't matter.They've gone away.
