4.8 magnitude earthquake hits Philippines

In breaking news coming in, the US Geological Survey is reporting that a 4.8 magnitude earthquake has struck the municipality of San Isidro in the typhoon-affected Philippines.
San Isidro is just east of typhoon affected Cebu and 641 km south-east of Manila. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of around 68.7 kilometers.
So far, no reports of any tsunami alert having been issued. The quake comes as the country is carrying out search and rescue missions after Typhoon Haiyan left over one-thousand and seven hundred people died.
