《猩球黎明》连续两周票房夺冠
The box office chart has spoken loud and clear. "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" holds tight at number one. Their aggressive battle for dominance takes a bite of $36 million in domestic ticket sales over the weekend. Leading the pack is Caesar, played by Andy Serkis -- An ape who will captivate sci-fi fans in this anticipated sequel. This dark horror flick lit up movie theaters over the weekend, placing second with $28.4 million in ticket sales. "The Purge: Anarchy" is a sequel to 2013's hit film, and spins the tale of a couple whose car breaks down. But as Murphy's Law has it, their bad luck starts at the beginning of a 12-hour period when crime is legal. Coming up behind them is Walt Disney's "Planes: Fire and Rescue," placing third at the box office. This 3D animation proves to be a wild ride. The heat is on as friendly planes put their lives at risk to battle the blaze. But don't let their cartoon charisma fool you -- this movie provides a beautiful tribute to real life firefighters. Even so, they can't quite rise above the mighty "Apes."
