China hopes to improve football through U.K. cooperation

Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Britain where part of his agenda is to promote the development of Chinese football through cooperation with the UK. Xi will visit the Manchester City Football Group on Friday, accompanied by British Prime Minister David Cameron and PRC footballer Sun Jihai. The City Group is a massive organization with clubs in Australia and the United States.
There are two Premier League giants in Manchester. One is the traditional team Manchester United. The other is Manchester City that have won two Premier League titles in the past 4 years.
Manchester City Club is well known to Chinese fans because Chinese player Su Jihai has played here. But more important reason on Xi Jinping visiting here is Manchester City Club attaches great importance to their youth training system.
The stadium was set up after 17 design scheme with seven years and can accommodate 7000 spectators.
In addition to the perfect hardware facilities, Manchester City Club's youth sysem and echelon construction are also synchronized. There are a total of more than 400 players in all ages to train here.
"Many of their facilities and ideas give us a lot of inspiration and President Xi Jinping thought the same as us at this point. Improvements in football won't come just by the introduction of some high level players and coaches, we must focus more on the basics so that in the future we can compete at the highest level of world football," Li Jianguang with Supersports Mdeia Group said.
Manchester City want to expressed their ideas to the president and the Chinese fans. It also hope through the president's visit can deepen the future cooperation of Sino-British football.
