no way：绝对无法

e.g. He had no way to communicate with his brother.

他没有办法与他兄弟联系。

e.g. He had no way to redeem his furniture out of pawn.

他无法赎回典当的家具。

e.g. There's no way we can complete this project.

我们无法完成这项计划。

e.g. There was no way to break it gently.

1. get a scholarship：得到奖学金

e.g. She got a scholarship to Cambridge but dropped out a year later.

她得到了剑桥大学的奖学金，但一年以后就退学了。

e.g. With his excellent grades he'll get a scholarship to Harvard．

他成绩优异，能获得哈佛大学的奖学金。

2. a top student：尖子生

e.g. Our teacher was a top student when he was at university.

我们的老师在读大学时是尖子生。

e.g. He worked very hard in order to catch up with the top student in our class.

3. play truant：逃学

e.g. The two boys decided to play truant and go fishing.
