Sino-Japan friendship special envoy Eimei
中日友好特使“永明”
Eimei, a giant panda that has lived in Japan for 28 years, was appointed a special envoy for Sino-Japan friendship in western Japan on Saturday. Chinese Consul General in Osaka Xue Jian announced the designation at a ceremony held Saturday in Adventure World, an amusement park in Shirahama of Japan's Wakayama prefecture.
12月17日，在日本生活28年之久的旅日大熊猫“永明”被任命为“中日友好特使”。中国驻大阪总领事薛剑宣布这一任命，仪式在位于日本和歌山县白浜町的休闲乐园“冒险世界”举办。
Over the past 50 years, thanks to the joint efforts of the two governments and peoples, the two sides have successively signed four political documents and reached a series of important consensuses, and continuously deepened exchanges and cooperation in various fields, bringing important benefits to the two countries and their people as well as promoting peace and development of the region and the wider world.
50年来，在两国政府和两国人民共同努力下，双方先后达成四个政治文件和一系列重要共识，各领域交流合作不断深化，给两国和两国人民带来重要福祉，也促进了地区乃至世界和平与发展。
