As Maurice sat in the waiting room of the doctor he was a little bit uncomfortable. His parents worked on Wall Street! That meant that he was used to being waited on hand and foot! Coming among people from every walk of life was not a common thing for Maurice. Today it was actually like a wake-up call and he was finally ready to listen!
Why did some people walk tall while others didn't even want to wake up? Just because his parents were rich and he had a lot of money? Well that took a lot of doing, sure, and he was certainly privileged. But did he walk on air because of his parents, because people waited on him?
No! That couldn't be right, Maurice thought! There had to be something more to it! Or maybe he shouldn't be walking on air!
Maurice stood up and walked out of the room. Where he was wandering off to he didn't know, but he had to have some answers. At the very least he had to walk off his feet and shake his mood!
Luckily some walls have ears, and eyes in this case. Maurice's parents were able to catch him before he walked out of the building into the most violent neighborhood in the city!
Thank goodness for a secure life, they thought! Maurice would never know! They just escorted him back to the doctor's office and then drove out of the security garage when it was over!
