It didn't help that Ron kept breaking into silent giggles and Hermione kept tutting.
罗恩不断偷偷地乐，赫敏一直在啧啧地表示不耐烦，这对哈利要排除杂念都帮不了什么忙。
'Seen anything yet?' Harry asked them, after a quarter of an hour's quiet crystal-gazing.
“看到什么了吗？”安安静静地看水晶球看了一刻钟之后，哈利问他们。
'Yeah, there's a burn on this table, 'said Ron, pointing. 'Someone's spilled their candle.'
“看到了，桌子上有一块灼痕，”罗恩指着说，“有人把蜡烛弄翻过。”
'This is such a waste of time, 'Hermione hissed. 'I could be practising something useful. I could be catching up on Cheering Charms —'
“真是浪费时间，”赫敏低声说，“我本来可以去练习其他有用东西的。我可以补上快乐咒语这一课——”
Professor Trelawney rustled past.
特里劳妮教授衣裙沙沙响着过来了。
'Would anyone like me to help them interpret the shadowy portents within their Orb?' she murmured over the clinking of her bangles.
“有人愿意要我帮助解释一下他们水晶球里影影绰绰出现的东西吗？”她走动着，手镯发出细碎的响声。
'I don't need help,' Ron whispered. 'It's obvious what this means. There's going to be loads of fog tonight.'
“我不需要帮助，”罗恩耳语道，“这很明显，今晓会有大雾。”
Both Harry and Hermione burst out laughing.
哈利和赫敏都爆发出一阵大笑。
'Now, really! 'said Professor Trelawney, as everyone's heads turned in their direction. Parvati and Lavender were looking scandalised.
“现在，真的！”特里劳妮教授说，这时大家的脑袋都转到他们这个方向，帕瓦蒂和拉文德露出震惊愤慨的表情。
'You are disturbing the clairvoyant vibrations!'
“你们搅乱了有洞察力的人的感应！”
She approached their table and peered into their crystal ball. Harry felt his heart sinking. He was sure he knew what was coming ...
她走近他们的桌子，看他们的水晶球。哈利觉得心往下沉，他肯定知道会发生什么事……
'There is something here!' Professor Trelawney whispered, lowering her face to the ball, so that it was reflected twice in her huge glasses.
“这里有些什么东西！”特里劳妮教授悄声说。把脸凑近了水晶球，于是她的大眼镜就映出两个水晶球来。
'Something moving ... but what is it?'
“什么东西在动……但那是什么呀？”
Harry was prepared to bet everything he owned, including his Firebolt, that it wasn't good news, whatever it was. And sure enough ...
哈利愿意拿他所有的东西来打赌，包括火弩箭在内，他认为她要说的决不是好消息，不管她说什么。果然……
'My dear ...' Professor Trelawney breathed, gazing up at Harry.
“我亲爱的……”特里劳妮教授喘了口气，看着哈利，
'It is here, plainer than ever before ... my dear, stalking towards you, growing ever closer ... the Gr–'
“从这里看到，比以前任何时候都清楚……我亲爱的，大踏步向你走来，越走越近……那不祥……”
'Oh, for goodness'sake! 'said Hermione, loudly. 'Not that ridiculous Grim again!
“哦，看在上帝面上！”赫敏大声说，“可别又是那可笑的不祥吧！”
