《中秋月》是北宋文学家晏殊创作的一首七言绝句。正值中秋佳节，月光透过院中梧桐，在地面投下树影。诗人羁旅他乡，无法与家人团聚，由望月联想到嫦娥在清冷的月宫中只有孤单摇曳的桂树相伴，也会有惆怅和怨恨，从而委婉地抒发了游子的思乡情怀。全诗由景及情，由近及远，层次井然。后两句从对方落笔，反衬自己的相思怅惘，合景切题，尤觉风华。

十轮霜影转庭梧，此夕羁人独向隅。
未必素娥无怅恨，玉蟾清冷桂花孤。

The pale moon shadow moves past the yard's phoenix tree,
On this night the sojourner alone is sad as sad could be;
The Moon Goddess Chang-e must have the same feeling:
She has only toad and osmanthus to keep her company.
