Woman: Hey, Matt, you got your paper done for class today?

Man: No, I just realized it's sitting on my desk. I wrote it last night, but I forgot to bring it with me.
男：不，我刚想起来论文还在我桌子上呢。我昨天晚上写的，但是忘记带过来了。
Woman: Uh-oh, so what are you gonna do?
女：啊...那你打算怎么办？
Man: Well, I could drive home and get it, I live off campus, but if I hurry, I'd probably get home and bring the paper back before class was over. You know how strict she is about late submissions.
男：嗯...我可以开车回家去拿，我住在校外，不过如果快的话，我现在回家也许能赶得及在下课之前把论文拿回来。你也知道教授对晚交作业管得很严的。
Woman: Yeah, but you'd miss part of the class. I know!
女：是的，可是这样的话你就会错过课上的部分内容了。我知道啊！
Woman: Maybe you could talk to the professor, explain what happened and ask her if you could send it later by email.
女：也许你可以跟教授说一说，解释一下情况，问问她可不可以让你晚一点用邮件把论文发给她。
Man: I know, but, I'd have to do it after class cause she always starts class right on time. There wouldn't be time to talk to her until after class.
男：我知道，可是我只能下课之后再跟她说了，因为她总是准时开始上课。下课之前都没有时间可以跟她说。
Woman: Well, why don't you do that and hope she doesn't consider the paper late?
女：好吧，你可以试试啊，然后希望她不会觉得你晚交了吧。
