Harry, who was nearest the door, got up to look into the corridor.
哈利离门最近，起身去看看走廊里的情况。
All along the carriage, heads were sticking curiously out of their compartments.
走廊边上的各个车厢里，都有人探头出来张望。
The train came to a stop with a jolt and distant thuds and bangs told them that luggage had fallen out of the racks.
火车忽地一震，停了下来，远处传来砰砰啪啪的声音，说明行李从架子上掉了下来。
Then, without warning, all the lamps went out and they were plunged into total darkness.
然后，所有的灯忽然之间都灭了，他们被投入了彻底的黑暗之中。
'What's going on?' said Ron's voice from behind Harry.
“出什么事了？”罗恩的声音从哈利背后传来。
'Ouch!' gasped Hermione. 'Ron, that was my foot!'
“哎哟！”赫敏气喘吁吁地说，“罗恩，那是我的脚！”
Harry felt his way back to his seat.
哈利摸索着回到自己的座位上。
'D'you think we've broken down?' 'Dunno...'
“你说是火车坏了吗？”“不知道……”
There was a squeaking sound, and Harry saw the dim black outline of Ron, wiping a patch clean on the window and peering out.
传来一阵吱吱吱短促刺耳的声音，哈利看见了罗恩模糊不清的黑色轮廓。罗恩在窗玻璃上抹出一块干净地方，正在往外看。
'There's something moving out there,' Ron said. 'I think people are coming aboard...'
“那儿有什么东西在动，”罗恩说，“我猜人们在往外走……”
The compartment door suddenly opened and someone fell painfully over Harry's legs.
车厢的门突然开了，有人痛苦地跌到了哈利腿上。
'Sorry! D'you know what's going on? Ouch! Sorry —'
“对不起！你知道出了什么事吗？哎哟！对不起——”
'Hello, Neville,' said Harry, feeling around in the dark and pulling Neville up by his cloak.
“你好，纳威。”哈利说，在黑暗里摸着纳威的外衣把他拉了起来。
'Harry? Is that you? What's happening?' 'No idea! Sit down —'
“哈利？是你吗？发生什么事了？”“不知道！坐下——”
There was a loud hissing and a yelp of pain; Neville had tried to sit on Crookshanks.
一阵响亮的嘶叫声和一声因负痛而发出的大叫，原来纳威误坐到克鲁克山身上去了。
'I'm going to go and ask the driver what's going on,' came Hermione's voice.
“我正要去问司机这是怎么回事。”这是赫敏的声音。
