Snape froze. Harry stared, dumbstruck, at the message.
斯内普僵住了。哈利目瞪口呆，看着这段话，什么也说不出来。
But the map didn't stop there. More writing was appearing beneath the first.
但是那地图还不罢休，在第一段文字下面又出现了新的文字。
'Mr Prongs agrees with Mr Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git.'
尖头叉子先生同意月亮脸先生的话，还愿意加上一句，那就是斯内普教授是丑陋的蠢货。
It would have been very funny if the situation hadn't been so serious. And there was more ...
如果形势不是这么严重，这样的话实在很有趣。但是底下还有……
'Mr Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a Professor.'
大脚板先生愿意表示惊讶：像斯内普这样的傻瓜怎么竟然成了教授。
Harry closed his eyes in horror.
哈利害怕得闭上了眼睛。
When he'd opened them, the map had had its last word.
等他睁开眼睛的时候，地图上出现的字迹快完了。
'Mr Wormtail bids Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball.'
虫尾巴先生向斯内普教授问好，劝告他洗洗头发，那一团软泥。
Harry waited for the blow to fall.
哈利等着斯内普大发雷霆。
'So ...' said Snape softly. 'We'll see about this ...'
“这样……”斯内普软弱地说，“我们会料理这件事……”
He strode across to his fire, seized a fistful of glittering powder from a jar on the fireplace, and threw it into the flames.
他在壁炉前踱着步，从壁炉架上的一个罐子里抓了一把发亮的粉末撒在火焰上。
'Lupin!' Snape called into the fire. 'I want a word!'
“卢平！”斯内普对着火焰叫道，“我要说句话！”
Utterly bewildered, Harry stared at the fire.
哈利完全手足无措了，他瞪着那火焰。
A large shape had appeared in it, revolving very fast.
火里出现了一个大的形体，很快地旋转着。
Seconds later, Professor Lupin was clambering out of the fireplace, brushing ash off his shabby robes.
几秒钟以后，卢平教授从火里爬了出来，从破烂的袍子上掸去炉灰。
'You called, Severus?' said Lupin mildly.
“你叫我吗，西弗勒斯？”卢平温和地问道。
'I certainly did,' said Snape, his face contorted with fury as he strode back to his desk.
“当然是我叫的。”斯内普说，他走回书桌那边，脸都气歪了，
'I have just asked Potter to empty his pockets. He was carrying this.'
“我刚才要波特把衣袋倒空，他身上带着这个东西。”
