Nelson: What do the Indian tribes wear before they came into contact with the Europeans?

Vanessa: They have various attires. But mostly they made use of hide.
瓦内萨：他们的服饰各种各样。但主要是用兽皮为材料做的。
Nelson: The skin of the bison?
纳尔逊：使用美洲野牛的皮吗？
Vanessa: Among others, there were also the hide of buffalo, antelope, and deer.
瓦内萨：这是其中一种，其他的还有水牛皮，羚羊皮以及鹿皮。
Nelson: Are there any clothes made with cotton?
纳尔逊：有没有棉质的衣服？
Vanessa: Textile was limited to certain regions. Plant fiber as well as animal hair were made into thread, and then woven to make cloth. The cloth was tailored into cape, hat, blouse and dress.
瓦内萨：只有一些地区才有纺织品。他们用植物纤维和动物的毛来做成线，然后织成布。再把这些布裁剪成披肩、帽子、衬衫和裙子。
