Bill: I do admire the courage of the Inuit to inhabit in the Arctic. They could literally be frozen to death.
比尔：我好佩服因纽特人住在北极的勇气啊。他们真的可能被冻死的。
Monica: Many other people also face the hazards of winter. Besides, they have warm clothes designed to protect them from the biting cold.
莫妮卡：许多其他人也要面对严酷的冬天啊。而且因纽特人有保暖的衣服使他们免受剌骨的严寒。
Bill: I won't be surprised if they are wrapped up in furs all year round.
比尔：如果他们一年到头都把自己用皮毛裹起来，我也不会惊讶的。
Monica: Fur is a best help against winter. Their garments have hoods, and these are specially fringed to keep frost from forming on the edge.
莫妮卡：冬天穿皮毛确实很管用。他们的外套有兜帽，还有专门防止衣服边缘结霜的特殊镶边。
Bill: What about their hands and feet?
比尔：那手和脚怎么办呢？
Monica: They wear thick gloves and seal skin boots. And I bet you don't know the Inuit have a large pouch on their clothes.
莫妮卡：手上戴厚厚的手套，脚上穿海豹皮的靴子。我打赌你不知道因纽特人的衣服上有个大大的口袋。
Bill: To store food?
比尔：是为了放食物吗？
Monica: To put the baby, actually.
莫妮卡：其实是为了放小孩。
