短语精讲：tie up这个短语中的动词tie后面既可以接somebody，也可以接something。即：tie something up，tie somebody up。

Tie something up意思是“系住, 拴住（船等）”“停泊”。例如： We tied the boat up alongside the quay. 我们把船停泊在码头处。

Tie somebody up意思是“捆绑某人”。例如： The thieves left the night-watchman tied up and gagged. 窃贼把夜班守卫员捆住, 把他的嘴也堵住了。
