He could see the vast, bloody eye sockets, see the mouth stretching wide, wide enough to swallow him whole,
哈利可以看见它那两个巨大的、鲜血淋漓的眼窝，看见它的嘴巴张得很大很大，大得简直能把他整个吞下去，
lined with fangs long as his sword, thin, glittering, venomous... It lunged blindly.
嘴里露出两排像他的银剑那么长的毒牙，薄薄的，发着寒光，含着毒液……它盲目地冲了过来。
Harry dodged and it hit the Chamber wall.
哈利慌忙躲闪，撞到了密室的墙上。
It lunged again, and its forked tongue lashed Harry's side.
它又扑了过来，分岔的舌头嗖地掠过哈利的身体。
He raised the sword in both his hands.
哈利用双手举起银剑。

Harry threw his whole weight behind the sword and drove it to the hilt into the roof of the serpent's mouth.
