Zhu Qiqi, a 31-year-old professor and doctoral supervisor at the China University of Geosciences, has been ranked first in the 2025 selection event sponsored by the ACM SIGSPATIAL CHN Branch.
31岁的中国地质大学（武汉）教授、博士生导师朱祺琪入选美国计算机学会SIGSPATIAL中国分会主办2025年度“空间数据智能新星学者”?，排名第一。
The prestigious accolade recognizes exceptional Chinese scholars under 36 worldwide.
此次评选面向未满36周岁的海内外华人学者。
Born in 1993, Zhu achieved an extraordinary academic trajectory. After earning her bachelor's degree, she was admitted without entrance exams to a master's program at Wuhan University in 2013, later fast-tracking to a PhD. She completed her doctorate in June 2018 at Wuhan University.
朱祺琪出生于1993年，在学术上有着非凡的成就。在获得学士学位后，她于2013年免试进入武汉大学攻读硕士学位，随后又快速获得博士学位。她于2018年6月在武汉大学获得博士学位。
Beyond research, Zhu is celebrated for her dedication to students. "Professor Zhu's classes are lively and filled with real-world examples. She interacts with us constantly and checks in during breaks," said student Jin Lin.
除了研究，朱祺琪还以对学生的奉献而闻名。朱教授的课生动活泼，充满了现实生活中的例子。她经常和我们互动，课间也会走到我们身边。”
Another student Wang Linlin added, "She's always energetic. Once, she reviewed my document at 2 am, yet arrived in the office the next morning full of vigor."
另一名研究生王琳琳说：“朱老师给我的印象就是永远都很有精力。一次看到她半夜两三点接收我发过去的文档，但第二天早上，还是精神满满地来到办公室。”
Reflecting on her success, Zhu attributes it to "good fortune in having mentors who shaped both my scholarship and character" and her ability to multitask efficiently. "Research can be lonely, but it’s also liberating," she said.
朱祺琪回忆道，一方面是因为幸运，遇到了三位在学术上造诣深厚、同时在为人处世方面给予她极大影响的导师。另一方面则得益于她较高的工作效率，能够在同一时间处理多项任务。“研究可能是孤独的，但也是一种解放，”她说。
