一.trouble：n. 困难，烦恼，麻烦 v. 使烦恼，麻烦，苦恼，费神
【词义辨析】
bother, disturb, trouble, annoy, irritate, vex,
bother: 指使人烦恼而引起的紧张不安或感到不耐烦。
disturb: 较正式用词，多用被动态。指扰乱，使人不能平静或妨碍别人工作、思维或正常秩序，是程度较深的烦恼。
trouble: 指给人在行动上带来不便或在身心上造成痛苦。
annoy: 强调因被迫忍受令人不快、讨厌的事而失去平静或耐心，多指一时的打扰或恼怒。
irritate: 语气比annoy强得多，指激怒，使发怒，多指一种短时间的反应。
vex: 侧重指因不断的干扰而引起的烦恼，有时含激怒的意味。
【例句用法】
1.I'm sorry to have to put you to so much trouble.
很抱歉，给您添了这麽多麻烦。
2.Don't mention my name or you'll get me into trouble.
别提我的名字，免得给我惹麻烦。
3.I find getting up early a great trouble.
我觉得早起床可不容易。
4.My car's got engine trouble.

二.start：v. 开始，出发，震惊 n. 开始，震动，领先优势，起推动作用的外力
【词义辨析】
begin, start, commence, initiate, inaugurate,
begin: 最常用词，含义广泛，其反义词是end，多用于行动、工作等的开始。
start: 在许多场合可与begin通用，但start侧重动作的起点。
commence: 可与begin换用，但commence系书面正式用词，语气庄重，特指有正式程序或一定仪式，或某种正式行动的“开始”。
initiate: 指创始或发起，侧重某过程的第一步，不考虑结束，强调起始。
inaugurate: 指正式而隆重的开始。
depart, leave, go, start, quit, set out,
depart: 较正式用词，指经过周密考虑或郑重地离开，强调离开的起点。
leave: 侧重出发地而不是目的地。
go: 一般用词，指从所在地到其它地方去，着重目的地而非出发地。
start: 可与leave换用，强调目的地，但不及leave普通。
quit: 侧重指离开令人烦恼的地方，或摆脱使人不快的人或事。
set out: 书面用词。
【词语用法】
1.start与begin意思差不多，但是start意思稍广，有启动的意思。另外在更正式的形式中，更偏向于使用begin；
2.start表示“动身”时，常与for, from连用，但是不怎么与at连用。
I aw starting for Shanghai tomorrow.
我明天出发去上海。
3.start表示“动身”时，还常用现在时或现在进行时表示将来时。
I start tomorrow.
4.start in/out同start一样，解释为“开始”，是不及物动词，常用于口语。
He started (in/out) the task at once.
他马上开始任务。
5.start有如下搭配：start doing， start to do， start in，start in doing；
6.at the start与from the start之间的区别：at the start是起初的意思，from the start是从头便。
【错句举例与错句分析】
错句：The quarrel started in competition between two tribes.
纠正：The quarrel originated in competition between two tribes.
翻译：争论起源于两个部落之间的竞争。
分析：originate是起源于的意思，这句话的意思是战争起源于两个部落的竞争，更符合意思。
【例句用法】
1.She started at the sound of my voice.
她听到了我的声音，蓦地一惊。
2.The society was started in 1980.
该协会是1980年创建的。
3.What a start you gave me!
你吓了我一大跳！
4.We are just about to start.
我们正要出发。
5.We must make a new start.
我们必须重新开始。
