[by:¿É¿ÉÓ¢Óï¡«m.moreplr.com] [00:00.00] Another thing you can not afford to miss is to circus performances. [00:04.27] The first is the Circus Romano from Italy. [00:07.44] As this is a travelling circus, it follows a long tradition by performing in a marquee which is really like a canvas protable building, [00:15.50] usually put up in a green space or car park, rather than in a theatre or stadium. [00:21.40] In spite of this, Circus Romano is not at all like the traditional circuses. [00:26.43] There are no animals just very talented clowning and acrobatic routines. [00:30.51] The show has a lot of very funny movements, especially at the beginning, but the best part is the music and lighting. [00:37.33] They 're magical. [00:38.43] At forty five dollars it's very expensive anyway it's really for adult tastes. [00:45.23] The second circus performance is Circus Electrica at the Studio Theatre. [00:50.11] The purists are suggesting that this is not a circus at all. [00:53.48] It's a showcase for skills in dance and magic, rather than the usual ones you expect in a circus. [00:59.15] With only six performers it's a small production, which suits the venue well the Studio only seats about two hundred people. [01:07.12] An interesting feature of the show is that the performers are so young the youngest is only fourteen. [01:13.14] But it's still well worth seeing: a good one for the whole family. [01:16.43] And finally, as it's summer, you may wish to see some of the outdoor performances, [01:20.46] like the famous water puppet troupe, performing in the City Gardens this week. [01:25.01] It's large puppets on long sticks, controlled by puppeteers standing waist deep in the lake. [01:31.55] The puppets do comedy routines and there is some terrific formation dancing. [01:36.37] This is a fantastic show and the best moment comes at the end seeing the puppeteers. [01:42.01] It's really hard to believe what you 've been watching is lifeless wood and cloth.
